Over half a million pilgrims have already passed through the Holy Door of St. Peter's Basilica since the 2025 Jubilee began just two weeks ago. Across the city, faithful are also able to cross the threshold of three other Holy Doors in some of the most important churches of Christendom. Throughout the 2025 Jubilee, pilgrims will be able to journey through all these Holy Doors, symbolizing the transition that every Christian must make from sin to grace. There are a total of 5 Holy Doors for the Jubilee year, although the fifth one is at Rebibbia Prison, opened by Pope Francis as gesture of mercy and hope.
