Tanzania, Dec 18 : The Sisters of Grail celebrated their 50 years existence in Tanzania on 16th December 2020 . The Congregation started it's life and operation in the country in 1970. The founder of the congregation here in Tanzania is Sister Imelda Gaurwa. As the congregation started, soon sisters Honorata Mvungu, Julieth Msoffe, Lucresia Msoffe, Mary Goretti William and others joined them.

The Golden jubile High mass was celebrated with the presence of three bishops Rt. Rev. Rogath Kimaryo CSSp, the Bishop of Same Diocese; Most Rev, Josaphat Lebulu, Emeritus Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Arusha; Rt. Rev. Jacob Koda, Emeritus Bishop of Same Diocese, a good number of priests, the Grail members, other religious and the laity faithful.

During the homily, Most Rev. Bishop Lebulu insisted that the Jubilee carries the values of freedom and forgiveness.

Apart from the golden Jubilee, five sisters Sr Dionisia D Mshana, Sr Eugenia P Mvungi, Sr Febronia B Mushi, Sr Lucy Temba and Sr Juliana Msoffe, celebrated Silver Jubilee of Profession.
