Pamboor , Dec 28, 2024 : On the evening of 24th December, Christmas Eve service was celebrated to commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ at Holy Cross Church, Pamboor of Shirva Deanery. The service began by singing Christmas Carols at 7 PM followed by mass at 7:30 PM.

Rev Fr Stephen Fernandes (Director of the Youth Commission of the Udupi Diocese) was the main celebrant, Rev Fr Henry Mascarenhas, Parish Priest as the Co-Celebrant. The Statue of baby Jesus was unveiled by Fr Stephen Fernandes.

Rev Fr Henry Mascarenhas conveyed his wishes to all the parishioners and thanked all the sponsors and the contributors. Fr Henry Mascarenhas was grateful to the members of the Parish Pastoral Council, the photographers, the editor and his team, the liturgical committee, the choir master and the website reporter for their service. The Church Magazine “Khursaacho Taalo” was released by Fr Henry Mascarenhas. After the mass ICYM and YCS members entertained all the parishioners.
