Vittla, Feb 27, 2025 : The Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) St. John Paul II Vitla Deanery, in collaboration with ICYM Vitla unit, Catholic Sabha Vitla unit, Red Drop -Mangalore, Fr. Muller Hospital Mangalore organized a Blood Donation Camp at the Vitla church hall premises from 9 am to 1pm.
The event began with a devotional prayer song by Ashlin Veigas, member of ICYM Vitla unit.
Prithesh Lobo, President of ICYM Vitla Deanery, welcomed the gathering.

Rev. Fr. Ivan Rodrigues, Parish Priest of Vitla Church, inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp. In his presidential address, he emphasized the importance of blood donation, stating that it can bring light into the lives of others and is a reflection of humanity.
Dignitaries in attendance included Vijay Pais, Vitla parish vice president and secretary Shwetha Pais, Dr. Ashwatha, Fr. Muller Hospital Doctor, Wilson Pinto , ICYM central council Social cause secretary and PRO Sharvin Dsouza, Jecintha Fernandes, Vitla Catholic Sabha President; Wilson Dsouza , ICYM Vitla unit president. They were honored with flowers and mementoes.
Jecintha Fernandes, Vitla Catholic Sabha President, expressed her gratitude, and Dilroy Mascarenhas, ICYM Vitla unit Secretary, hosted the event.
A total of 40 Members generously contributed to the blood donation drive.
