Mangaluru, Dec 6 : St. Agnes Special School celebrated its School Day on Thursday, 5th December 2024 in the school hall. The programme began at 10.30 am with a warm and cordial welcome given to Shri Manoj Kumar- Mayor Mangalore city Corporation. The school children gave a general salute and accorded him a grand welcome through the school band.

The programme began with a prayer dance and invoked God’s blessings on the programme. Sr. Shruthi A.C Principal St. Agnes Special School Welcomed the Chief Guest and all those present for the function. The children then welcomed the gathering with a colourful dance. The children displayed their talents through various dances and singing which ended with a meaningful Christmas play depicting the life of Jesus Christ.

The Chief Guest Shri Manoj Kumar in his speech lauded the service of the sisters among the children with special needs and assured his help and support to the institution during his tenure. He also appreciated the colourful performance of the children.

The programme was attended by the parents of the children and well-wishers. The whole programme was compered by Mr. Narayan Sherigar. Mr. Prakash proposed the vote of thanks. It was a day of Joy and gladness.
