Omzoor , Nov 4, 2024 : Medical camp was held at Holy Family Church Omzoor, in collaboration with Father Muller Medical College and Cancer Society of India on November 3rd. Sthree Sanghatan, along with health commission and family commission, jointly organised the camp.

The camp was inaugurated by Fr William Menezes, parish priest of Omzoor. Programme began with introducing Fr Muller's team and doctors.

Fr William Menezes parish priest of Omzoor, Mr Arther Dsouza vice president of parish council, Mrs Dafney Lewis secretary of parish council, Mr Elroy Saldanha co-ordinator of 21 commissions ,Vinaya Braggs president of Sthree Sangathan were present for the event.

There was a special talk on cancer awareness by Dr Elroy Saldanha, a surgical oncologist. The camp's primary focus was cancer screening and general health checkup for various types of cancer.

There were 12 doctors and 18 staff members from Father Muller Medical College along with the Cancer Society of India. A total of 148 beneficiaries availed the free health benefits.
