Moodbidri, Nov 1 : On Friday, November 1, 2024, Corpus Christi Church celebrated the feast of All Saints' Day with a solemn service. The service began at 7 a.m. with the recitation of the Holy Rosary, followed by the Holy Eucharistic Mass celebrated by Rev. Fr. Onil D’Souza. In his homily, Fr. Onil emphasized the importance of the day, highlighting that over 365 saints are honored by the Catholic Church for their holy and faithful lives. These saints, he noted, remained steadfast in their faith, even in the face of persecution.
Fr. Onil explained the levels of sainthood, including the titles of “Servant of God,” “Blessed,” and “Saint.” He added that through the intercession of these saints, healing miracles have occurred that defy scientific explanation. He urged the congregation to follow the saints’ example of devotion and surrender to God, aspiring toward salvation.
