Gantalkatte - Moodbidri, Jul 20, 2024 : On June 23rd, a major blood donation camp was held at Nityadar Sabhabhavan of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour Church, Gantalkatte. The event was a collaborative effort between the Catholic Sabha Mangaluru Pradesh (R.) Gantalkatte Unit, Alva's Health Center (R.), Moodabidri, and the Indian Catholic Youth Movement, Gantalkatte.

The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from the youth of both organizations, resulting in the collection of a total of 25 units of blood. The event was honored by the presence of Gantalkatte Church Pastor, Rev. Fr. Ronald Prakash D'Souza.

The success of the camp was largely due to the dedicated efforts of many individuals. Special thanks go to Catholic Sabha Unit President Anil Ruban Mendonsa, Vice President Rocky Pinto, and their team, as well as Rajesh from Alva's Health Center and Ishan Menezes from the Indian Catholic Youth Organization. Their hard work and commitment were instrumental in ensuring the success of the camp.

Each donor was awarded a certificate on the spot as a token of appreciation for their generous contribution.

This blood donation camp was a testament to the spirit of community service and cooperation, and its success highlights the collective effort of all involved.
