Bola - Bantwal, Aug 17 : On the occasion of “National Youth Day” on August 11, 2024 Sunday, all the Youth of St Lawrence Church, Bola actively participated in the 7:00am Holy Mass, which was celebrated by Rev.Fr. Fredrick Correa.

After the Mass the Program began at 11:00am and Commenced with Prayer led by Unit Members.

Ashwini Renita Dsouza ICYM Liturgy Secretory Bola Unit, served as the Host for the Program. Teena Dsa President of ICYM Bola Unit warmly welcomed the Guests on the dais who included Rev.Fr. Fredrick Correa Parish Priest of Bola, Vice President of The Parish Pastoral Council and Animator of ICYM Bola Unit Sachin Dsouza, Secretary of the Parish Pastoral Council and Animator of the YCS Bola Unit Keerthi Dsouza, Catholic Sabha Mangalore South Deanery Youth Representative Akhil Joy Cutinha, Fr.Muller’s Hospital Mangalore Medical Store Incharge Sr. Zeena, Sr. Ashmitha from Panir Convent, 2023-24 ICYM Bola Unit Animator Jane Mary Machado and President of the ICYM Bola Unit Teena Dsa.

The Dignitaries Inaugurated the Program by revealing Theme “YOUTH SPARKLE”.

Akhil Joy Cutinha who was the Chief Guest of the Program gave a Talk about How ICYM and YCS Shape the Lives of Youth and Motivated to join ICYM.

At last Vote of Thanks was delivered by Delna Dsouza Cultural Representative of ICYM Bola Unit. The Action Song was conducted by Unit Members. To make that day Interactive and more fun, activities were conducted by Jenisha D Souza, ICYM Secretory Bola Unit.

Fr.Michael Dsouza then Delivered brief Talk on Emphasizing the Importance of Youth in Society, by giving examples of Olympics, explained how to Showcase Talent and come forward in Life and made the Day most Memorable.

After the Program , lunch was provided for all the Members who were present in the Event.

The” YOUTH SPARKLE” Event was a big Success which Encouraged all the Youths of Bola Parish to be More Confident , Explore New Opportunities and Active in their Lives.
