Borimar - Bantwal, Aug 14, 2024 : On August 11th ICYM Borimar unit conducted a youth gathering named YUVOTSAV - 2024 at St Joseph Church, Borimar. The dignitaries on the dais included Rev. Fr. Naveen Prakash Dsouza, parish priest; Wilson Pinto, Social cause secretary; Sharvin Dsouza, PRO, ICYM Mangalore Diocese; Steevan Prakash Martis, Parish Vice president; Steevan Pais, Secretary; Elias Pereira, coordinator of all commissions; Prithesh Lobo, President of ICYM Vittal denary; Rithesh Lobo, Secretary ICYM Vittal denary; Princita Dsouza and Vinisha Mascarenhas, president and secretary of ICYM Borimar unit.

The event commenced with prayer led by unit members. Unit president welcomed the gathering. The dignitaries inaugurated the programme formally. An honoring ceremony was conducted recognizing Anil Sequeira's achievements.

Fr Naveen Prakash Dsouza emphasized the significance of the day and expressed gratitude to all parish youth for their active involvement.

Wilson Pinto praised the parish youths for organizing such an excellent event. Vinisha Mascarenhas secretary proposed vote of thanks. Ivan Dcunha was the MC for the program.

The session continued with Sir Norbert Misquith who discussed leadership within the church and the benefits of participating in various organizations.

Afternoon session included games which were conducted by Praveen Mogarnad. At 4pm the event was brought to an end.
