Saverapura - Moodbidri, Aug 12, 2024 : On Sunday, August 11th, the ICYM Saverapura Unit, guided by Parish Youth Animator Naveen Dsouza, hosted a series of competitions for parishioners of St. Francis Xavier Church, Saverapura. The event was held in celebration of both the Feast of the Assumption of Our Lady and India's Independence Day.

Parish Priest Fr. Noel Mascarenhas presided over the occasion, commending the ICYM members for their efforts and wishing all participants the best of luck. Sisters Mable and Celestine from the Mount Rosary Congregation in Alangar served as judges.

The competitions included ward-wise group singing, solo singing for parishioners, and speech and drawing contests for children. After two hours of enthusiastic participation, Fr. Noel Mascarenhas expressed his gratitude to the ICYM and all involved. The event concluded with a hymn of thanks.
