Bondel - Mangaluru , Aug 11 , 2024 : St Lawrence English Medium School, Bondel, Mangalore, celebrated the feast of its patron saint, Saint Lawrence, with great enthusiasm and devotion. The occasion was graced by the presence of Rev. Fr. Jason Vijay Monis, Principal of Loreto Central School, as the chief guest.

The celebration began with a solemn mass, followed by a vibrant cultural program that showcased the talents of the students. The chief guest addressed the gathering, emphasizing the significance of Saint Lawrence's life and teachings. He encouraged the students to seize every opportunity to excel and reach their full potential.

Rev. Fr. Andrew Leo, the correspondent of the school, also addressed the gathering, urging the students to emulate the saint's virtues and strive for excellence in all aspects of life.

The dignitaries present on the occasion included Mr. John D'Silva, Vice President of Bondel Church; Mr. Nanda Kishore, Vice President of the PTA Executive Committee; Rev. Fr. William D'Souza, Assistant Parish Priest; Adithya, School Pupil Leader; and Thanmay, Assistant School Pupil Leader.

The school management, teachers, and students witnessed a spectacular cultural program presented by the students of grades 7 and 10. The event concluded with the distribution of prizes to the winners of the classroom decoration competitions held as part of the celebration.

The feast day celebration was a resounding success, thanks to the efforts of the school management, teachers, and students. It was a day filled with joy, laughter, and spiritual enrichment.
