ICYM Bejai holds visit to sick and elderly of the Parish

Bejai - Mangaluru, July 31 : ICYM unit of St Francis Xavier Church, Bejai visited the sick and the elders of the various wards of the Bejai Parish on Sunday, 21 July 2024, and on Sunday, 28 July 2024, in the morning 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and evening from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

During this visit, the youth of the parish got a very new and fresh angle of exposure of the Parish Community and also gave them further motivation to work for the betterment of the Parish Community.

Fr Peter Mascarenhas provided support to this initiative, along with Fr Norman Mathias, Assistant Parish Priest and Fr Johnson Sequeira, Principal – LCS and the Assistant Director of the ICYM Bejai Unit.

Each Priest went along with 4-5 members of the unit to visit the sick and elderly of each ward, covering all the wards in one day. The youth gained an insight of the various experiences of the elders and gave them further motivation to continue the good work they have been doing.
