Kinnigoli, Feb 13 : ICYM unit of Immaculate Conception Church, Kinnigoli organised Elders Day for all the parishioners who are above 65 years in the church hall on 11th February 2024 from 11.00 am to 1.00 pm.

Rev Fr. Vivek Deepak Pinto Asst Director, William Dsouza Parish Council Vice President, Michael Pinto Parish Council Secretary, Naveen Dcosta – 21 Commission Representative, Kenneth Dcosta ICYM President and Sarah Mathias ICYM Secretary were the dignitaries on the dais. A total of 120 people were present for the programme.

The programme began by invoking God’s blessing through a prayer song led by ICYM Members. The MC was performed by Slavia Serrao. ICYM President Kenneth Dcosta welcomed the guests. Then Fr. Vivek Deepak Pinto earnestly conveyed his spiritual words of wisdom to the parishioners. Then ICYM members sang a song followed by a skit performance.

Rev Fr. Faustine Lucas Lobo spoke on elders’ day giving a significant message to all the elders present. ICYM President Kenneth Dcosta conducted a few games for elders such as tongue twister, oldest coin game, needle thread game and a lucky person game. Prizes were given to all the winners by Fr. Faustine and Fr. Vivek. ICYM members asked some of the elders to share their experiences with all of them. ICYM Secretary Sarah Mathias concluded the programme by giving the vote of thanks followed by lunch at 12.30 pm.
