Mangaluru, Oct 3 : “Without love, deeds, even the most brilliant, count as nothing." - St. Thérèse de Lisieux

A meaningful assembly was conducted by the students of grade 2C and 2D on Tuesday 03 October, 2023 under the guidance of their class teachers at St Theresa's School Bendur. The theme was "Celebrating Patron's day". The feast of St Therese was a joyous occasion. It was an expression of their humble and sincere gratitude to their Patroness for the bountiful blessings showered upon the Theresian family. Students were very enthusiastic to celebrate this day donning their various costumes and outfits.

The assembly began with a special prayer session followed by dance drama enacting the life of St Therese. The School Principal Sr Lourdes conveyed the message and appreciated the performance of the children and encouraged them to instill the values of St Therese in their lives.

The program ended with a vote of thanks by a student. St Theresa's 'little way' teaches us to do the ordinary and simple things in life with extraordinary love. The smallest action, done with love and care, is more important than great deeds done for personal glory, gratification or simply out of obedience.
