Bantwal Sep 20 : The ICYM unit of Sacred Heart Of Jesus Church  , Shamboor orchestrated a delightful celebration on the occasion of the Monthi feast on September 8, 2023. As part of the festivities, the "Kutma Sangatha Selfie" family photo contest was organized, inviting all Shamboor parishioners to participate.

The contest encouraged participants to capture the spirit of togetherness by sending in photos of their families enjoying the festal meal, known as "Novem Jevan." Families from across Shamboor enthusiastically embraced the opportunity to showcase their unity.

The eagerly awaited results were unveiled on September 17, 2023, during the Sunday mass. Out of the ten participants, Sanod Lobo from Sacred Heart Ward clinched the 1st prize, while Seema Pinto from Sebastian Ward secured the 2nd prize. Dexter Lobo from St. Joseph Ward was awarded the 3rd prize for their captivating family photos. All other contestants were acknowledged with consolation prizes.

The "Kutma Sangatha Selfie" contest not only added a fun element to the Monthi feast celebrations but also emphasized the importance of family bonds and unity within the Shamboor community. It was a heartwarming tribute to the spirit of togetherness that defines this vibrant parish.
