Moodbidri, Sep 10 : The feast of the Nativity of Blessed Virgin Mary (Monthi Feast) was celebrated with devotion and fervor at St Francis Xavier Church, Saverapura, Murkoth Palke on September 8, 2023. The ceremony started with the blessing of new corn near the grotto.

This was followed by festal mass where Rev Fr Rohas Dias was the main celebrant. Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Noel Mascarenhas delivered a meaningful homily. Rev Fr Ashwil Dias concelebrated, in the presence of a large number of faithful.
