Shivamogga, Aug 4 , 2024 : The Diocese of Shimoga lost another Priest in Rev. Fr Paul D'Souza (51). He hails from St. Peter's Church, Gonibeedu, Chikkamagaluru.
He was suffering from liver related issues from the last few years. He breathed his last at Fr Muller's Hospital, Mangalore on August 3 at 9:40pm.
Fr Paul was born 10th December 1972 and Ordained priest for the Diocese of Shimoga on 04th May 2004. He served as Assistant Parish Priest of Sacred Heart Cathedral, Shivamogga, Parish Priest of St. Anthony's Church, Sharavathinagar, Shivamogga and as Parish Priest of Our Lady of Assumption Church & Manager and Correspondent of Assumption school, Hiriyur.
His funeral ceremony will be held on August 6th Tuesday at 10:30am at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Shivamogga.
