Vamanjoor, March 21 : St Raymond’s College, Vamanjoor, hosted its annual Commerce Fest “Phoenix” with great enthusiasm on March 20, 2025, at the college auditorium. The event was a significant occasion where students came together to celebrate their talents, foster unity, and enhance their team-building skills.

The fest was organized by the B.Com Department, with active participation from students and faculty members. The event was graced by Sr Jesintha Crasta BS Principal of St Raymond’s College, Ms Prajnashree, an esteemed alumna , the Chief Guest of the day, Ms.Melinda, Head of the Department of Commerce, Dr Sujana, Ms. Vinutha, Mrs. Mallika and Ms. Aishwarya faculty of the B.Com Department. Ms. Missriya welcomed the gathering.

Sr Jesintha Crasta in her presidential address emphasized that Phoenix embodies the qualities of passion, creativity, and fiery enthusiasm, and encouraged students to embrace these same qualities in their own pursuits. Ms. Prajna, the distinguished chief guest, delivered a thought-provoking address, emphasizing the significance of graduation as a pivotal milestone and offering valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities that await in the professional world.

The highlight of the event was the championship competition, where Team “Shadow Squad” emerged as the overall champion & Team “Olive Outcasts” emerged as Overall Runner-ups, showcasing outstanding performance and teamwork.

“Phoenix” was a grand success, bringing students together in a celebration of creativity, teamwork, and unity. Ms Manvitha of final year B.Com compered the event. Ms Haifa of third year B.Com student proposed the vote of thanks.
