Moodbidri, Feb 19, 2025 : On 1st February the students of Grade 5 at Carmel school Moodbidri showcased their creativity, knowledge and enthusiasm through subject-related presentations that captivated their audience. The event provided an engaging platform for students to demonstrate their understanding of real-world applications of their subjects fostering a deeper connection between learning and everyday life.

Grade 5A: Stay Safe, Stay Healthy: Your Ultimate Guide to First Aid & Hygiene

The students of Grade 5A delivered an insightful presentation on the importance of health, hygiene, safety and first aid. Emphasizing the saying "Health is Wealth" they highlighted how maintaining good health is crucial for a fulfilling life. The presentation covered essential safety rules to be followed in various places such as schools, laboratories, playgrounds, homes, construction sites and zoos.

A key highlight was the demonstration of first-aid techniques, including CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and handling emergency situations. Students also discussed the significance of personal hygiene and the role of a balanced diet in maintaining good health. Their engaging approach, practical demonstrations and valuable health tips made the session informative and impactful.

Grade 5B: Discovering Geometry in Everyday Life

Geometry is all around us and the students of Grade 5B proved this with their fascinating presentation . They explored how geometric concepts are found in music, nature, cooking, transportation, maps, technology, medicine, sports, astronomy, architecture, art, mandalas and daily life.

Using innovative demonstrations and real-life examples students illustrated the presence of shapes, angles and patterns in various aspects of our surroundings. The classroom was beautifully decorated with geometric figures enhancing the theme. Their excitement and curiosity were evident as they presented their findings before teachers, parents and peers making learning both fun and meaningful.

Grade 5C Grammar Quest: An Exciting Journey Through Language

The students of Grade 5C organized an engaging and interactive Grammar Gala, showcasing their creativity and linguistic skills. The event featured a variety of games, activities and quizzes in three languages Kannada, Hindi and English making learning an enjoyable experience for all.

The participants displayed great enthusiasm as they tackled different grammar challenges keeping the audience curious and engaged throughout. The event covered a wide range of grammar topics in an innovative and interactive manner ensuring that learning was both fun and effective.

To add to the excitement, winners were rewarded with gifts making the experience even more memorable. It not only strengthened language skills but also fostered teamwork, confidence and a love for learning.

The event concluded on a high note with words of appreciation from teachers and parents. It was a proud moment for all, reinforcing the school’s commitment to holistic education.
