Moodbidri, Feb 11, 2025 : On January 24th the young scholars of Carmel School Grade II dazzled the audience with their creative and insightful subject presentations turning their classrooms into immersive learning spaces. Their enthusiasm ,innovation and teamwork transformed everyday topics into captivating experiences leaving a lasting impact on all present.
Grade IIA: ‘The Park – A Place to Relax’
The students of Grade IIA recreated the serene beauty of a park right within their classroom. With carefully arranged vases, decorative pieces and greenery they brought a refreshing and lively atmosphere to life. Inspired by PARC they expressed their appreciation for the role of parks in providing relaxation, fresh air and a sense of community. Through engaging narrations and interactive storytelling they emphasized the importance of parks in fostering well-being and happiness. The audience was transported to a tranquil outdoor retreat all within the four walls of a classroom.
Grade IIB: A Visit to the Market
Meanwhile Grade IIB students turned their classroom into a bustling marketplace complete with fresh vegetables, leafy greens and colorful fruits. Dressed as sellers the young learners enthusiastically identified and described various products expanding their vocabulary and real-world knowledge. They also explored the pricing of vegetables, gaining insights into the workings of a market. The hands-on approach made learning both fun and meaningful leaving the audience thoroughly engaged in this vibrant market scene.
The students' performances reflected their deep understanding, confidence and creativity. Their hard work, combined with the unwavering support of teachers and parents made this event a truly enriching experience. The presentations not only enhanced learning but also nurtured essential life skills such as teamwork, communication and real-world awareness.
Carmel School’s Grade II students proved that learning extends beyond textbooks embracing curiosity and imagination to create unforgettable educational experiences.
