Mangaluru, Feb 2, 2025 : On February 1, the students of Grade 3 at St. Theresa's School organized a heartwarming Grandparents' Day Celebration in the school's main hall. The event was a beautiful tribute to the love, wisdom, and sacrifices of grandparents, creating cherished memories for all who attended.

The celebration was graced by Chief Guest Mr. Maxim Henry Monteiro, a Retired Senior Canara Bank Manager, along with Sr. Shaila, the Correspondent, Sr. Lourdes, the Principal, Sr. Reena, the Vice Principal, and Mrs. Collette Cabral, the PTA Vice President. Grandparents and guests gathered with joy to witness this special occasion.

The program commenced with a soulful prayer service, invoking God's blessings upon all grandparents. A graceful prayer dance by the students set a reverent and spiritual tone for the event.

The entertainment segment was filled with joy and emotion. A lively dance performance showcased the children's love and excitement, while a thought-provoking Hindi skit beautifully conveyed the importance of respecting and valuing the wisdom of elders.

Adding to the fun, exciting games were organized for the grandparents, filling the hall with laughter and enthusiasm. A heartfelt dance performance, dedicated to the unconditional love and forgiving nature of grandparents, left everyone deeply moved.

Chief Guest Mr. Maxim Monteiro delivered an inspiring speech, emphasizing the vital role of grandparents in nurturing young minds and preserving family values. Correspondent Sr. Shaila expressed her appreciation for the students and teachers for organizing such a meaningful and memorable event.

As a token of love and gratitude, special gifts were awarded to the winners of the games. The celebration concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks and refreshments, leaving everyone with smiles and warm hearts.
