Moodbidri, Jan 26, 2025 : On 26th January Carmel School Moodbidri celebrated the 76th Republic Day with a poignant and heartfelt program. The event was skillfully anchored by Dhruvi Roopa Sanvi and Reonna D’Souza setting a graceful tone for the day.

The celebration began with a soulful prayer song performed by Grade 8B followed by a warm welcome speech by Anora D’Souza. A patriotic song by Grade 8B further stirred the spirit of unity and pride among the attendees.

The chief guest Mrs Clara DCosta the Asst Coordinator and the Senior teacher of the School inspired the gathering with a thought-provoking speech emphasizing that “The Constitution is like the wheel of a vehicle guiding our nation forward.” The principal Sr. Maria Gracilda A.C. delivered a meaningful speech that highlighted the significance of Republic Day and the importance of being responsible citizens.

The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Reeva expressing gratitude to all participants and organizers who contributed to the success of the event.

On 25th January the school also hosted a vibrant cultural program with grandeur and enthusiasm. The event began with the arrival of the esteemed guest Mr. John Wilson Pinto a proud soldier who shared inspiring experiences from his service igniting a deep sense of patriotism among the students. The principal Sr. Maria Gracilda A.C. presided over the event reminding everyone of their rights and duties as citizens.

The cultural celebration started with a heartfelt prayer service followed by a lively welcome address by Ayush and Villona. A mesmerizing welcome dance by Sanvi and her group showcased elegance and energy captivating the audience.

Reanna D’Costa eloquently articulated the historical and constitutional significance of Republic Day followed by an energetic patriotic dance by Anora and her group that filled the hall with pride and unity. Adding a creative twist Shaaz and his group presented an engaging mime show that entertained the audience while delivering a reflective message.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Reeva expressing appreciation for everyone’s efforts. The seamless anchoring by Jacob James and Crisswell Sequeira ensured the program flowed smoothly.

Both days were filled with inspiration patriotism and pride leaving a lasting impression on everyone and truly embodying the spirit of Republic Day.
