Mangaluru, Jan 25 : On January 24th, 2025, the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication of St. Agnes College (Autonomous) organized an insightful seminar titled "Understanding Fake News: Spotting the Truth Online” at St Agnes CBSE School. Led by the dedicated third-year students under the guidance of Ms. Anusha Bhat, the seminar focused on equipping students with the skills to recognize misinformation, promote critical thinking, and enhance digital literacy in today's digital age.

The session was both engaging and interactive, encouraging active participation from the students and fostering valuable discussions. The students of grade VII walked away with practical strategies for identifying and addressing fake news online.
