Mangaluru, Jan 10, 2025 : Raymond Dcunha Taccode , a multilingual writer who has published fifteen books and a senior journalist with over 40 years of experience, has been appointed as the President of Mangalore Hobli unit by MP Srinath, the district president of Kannada Sahitya Parishat (KASAPA).

His widely discussed book, "Pati Patni Sutalaya" (A Guide to Prevent Divorce), along with works translated into Konkani, Tulu, and Byari languages, including other important books such as 'Sakalabharana,' 'Abharana' books, prose works, and his poetry collection 'Nannavala Kavala' have been well-received in Kannada.

He has published eight books in his mother tongue, Konkani. His first Tulu work is currently in the printing stage.

At the 26th Dakshina Kannada District Literary Conference held last year at the Mangalore Purabhavana, he, along with Dr. Meenakshi Ramachandra, successfully conducted the inaugural and closing ceremonies on time, earning admiration from the literary and organizing community.

Professor Pushparaj, the immediate past president of Mangalore Hobli district, has expressed his congratulations and happiness regarding the appointment.
