Mangaluru, July 20, 2024 : On July 20th, Snehalaya Psycho Social Rehabilitation Centre Manjeshwar celebrated a touching reunion of Praveen who was reporetd missing from the family 10 years back. Bro Joseph Crasta the founder of Snehalaya rescued him in front of KMC hospital Attavar and admitted him to Snehalaya . Unable to communicate his identity, he was named Dhooma and received necessary care at the centre.
Due to the joint venture of Snehalaya and Aadhar Seva Kendra Kendra of Mangalore it was possible to find his address. The Snehalaya team found that his real name is Praveen and he hails from Bellary of Karnataka. Soon the team contacted his family and they promised to come as soon as possible.
On July 20th, the family arrived at Snehalaya and were very emotional to meet Praveen after 10 years. His brother, father and relatives hugged him and had tears of Joy. Bro Joseph Crasta greeted him and wished them all the best for the future. His father and brother shared that he went missing when they went for work. They searched him everywhere, even lodged a Police complaint in Subramanya Police station. Praveen’s mother died while waiting for him in these years.
