Mangaluru, June 18 : The Investiture Ceremony of the newly selected Student Council of Carmel School, CBSE took place on 14th June, 2024, organized by the students of Class IX and X under the meticulous guidance of Tr. Vanisha and Tr. Swetha. The ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Mr. Vishwanath, retired Deputy Superintendent of Police, the chief guest for the day and Sr. Juliana Mary AC, the Joint Secretary, the president of the programme.

The event commenced through a guard of honor led by the school band, marking the entry of the honored guests and the newly elected cabinet members. This was followed by a soulful prayer song, setting a serene tone for the proceedings.

Sr. Pramila A.C. the Principal delivered the welcome speech, extending a warm reception to all attendees and highlighting the significance of the cabinet in fostering leadership and responsibility among students. The welcome dance performed by the students added a touch of vibrancy and cultural essence to the ceremony.

The highlight of the event was the ceremonial march of the cabinet members, who proceeded forward with great enthusiasm to take their oath led by Sr. Prmaila AC, the Principal. They pledged to uphold the values of the school and diligently execute their duties.

Chief Guest Mr. Vishwanath then addressed the gathering, delivering an inspiring speech focused on the theme "To Be Bold and Take Responsibility." He emphasized the importance of the cabinet members aligning themselves with the people they serve and maintaining discipline for the development of the community. His motivational words encouraged the young leaders to embrace their roles with courage and commitment.

Following this, Sr. Juliana Mary AC, the President of the day and the Joint Secretary of the institution, addressed the assembly. She spoke passionately about the importance of shaping future leaders, stressing the need for knowledge and active participation in the discharge of their responsibilities. She urged the cabinet members to cooperate with each other to ensure the smooth functioning of the school and to always strive to be responsible leaders.

The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Sr. AnithaA.C the Vice Principal expressing gratitude to all who contributed to the success of the event. The program was seamlessly compered by Prapthi and Deepali, who ensured the smooth flow of the proceedings.

The event concluded with the national anthem, leaving the audience with a sense of pride and unity.
