Mangaluru, May 29, 2024 : We are living today in a world of breathtaking change. It is an inevitable part of life, affecting every fibre of our being and education. These changes demand a 21st century teacher for a new breed of teachers, capable of meeting the demands and challenges of the new millennium. With this in mind, Carmel School CBSE Kotekar arranged a week's orientation for the staff.
It included an enriching sessions by Mr. John Nouigeraan ELT spoken English Trainer with Trinity College London who has been igniting minds for over 15 years. The programme featured two keynote sessions in respective fields. Empathy and Emotional Intelligence and Patience and adaptability. Mr. John Noguiera, by his rich experiences in the field of training, guided the teachers to integrate soft skills with communication strategies to handle classroom dynamics efficiently. The sessions captured hearts and minds of teachers for learning more.
On the second day, the practical sessions by Ms. Pallavi the resource person by Macmillan publications made the session very interesting, experiential. Teachers engaged themselves in hands-on experience learning to make their classrooms more effective.
Dr. Sr. Marie Prem Dsouza A.C. being the resource person on third day spoke on the topic ‘Apostolic Carmel Stamp of Education’ Sister made the staff even more enthusiastic by her Insight - filled talk to imbibe the AC spirit of education imparting compassionate face of God to our students and strive for excellence.
Teachers, the sculptors of human heart enriched themselves by these sessions as they embark on another new academic year filled with new adventure and excitement.
