The Solemnity of St. Joseph in Rome was marked by a solemn procession and the veneration of relics at the Basilica of St. Joseph near the Vatican. Among the relics on display were the holy cloak of St. Joseph and a piece of the veil believed to have belonged to the Virgin Mary. These relics, safeguarded in Rome since the 4th century, were rediscovered by St. Jerome on his journey to Bethlehem. For pilgrims visiting during the Jubilee Year, the relics offered a profound connection to the Holy Family, fostering a renewal of faith and a strengthened sense of community.
