Pamboor - Udupi, July 2 : Catholic Sabha, St Vincent De Paul Society and Family Commission of Holy Cross church, Pamboor celebrated Elders' day and Inaugurated Senior Citizen Club on 23 June 2024. The day began with Euchairstic mass at 11:30AM followed by a stage programme and lunch. The parish priest Rev.Fr.Henry Mascarenhas presided over the programme. Coordinator for Diocese Family commission Mr Leslie Aroza, President of Catholic Sabha Mr.Vijay Dheeraj Dsouza, President of St Vincent De Paul Society Mr.Lucas Dsouza, Co-ordinator for 22 commissions of the parish Mrs.Violet Castelino, President of Senior Citizen Club Mr.Valerian Noronha, Secretary of Parish Council Mr.Tony Monis were present on the dais.

Mr.Valerian, Mr.Tony addressed the gathering. Mr.Leslie Aroza spoke on the challenges faced by our Elders in our society and also shared some incidents he came across. The parish priest gave his presidential remarks.

Mr.Fredrick Menezes compered, Mrs. Violet Castelino welcomed the gathering.  Mr.Lucas Dsouza conducted some spot games and gave away the prizes. Mr.Vijay Dheeraj proposed the vote of thanks. The programme concluded with lunch.
