Nellyady - Puttur , July 9 : On Sunday 07th July 2024, ICYM Nellyady Unit along with Environment Commission, Youth commission, Catholic Sabha & Sthree Sanghatan celebrated Laudato Si Sunday at Infant Jesus Church, Nellyady.

The event was graced by the presence of the Parish Priest & ICYM Director Rev.Fr. Gratian Alvares, Sr. Theresa John, Sr.Saritha D Souza - ICYM Animator, Mr.Thomas D Souza - Vice president of PPC, Mrs.Nishmitha D Souza - Secretary of PPC, Mr.Victor Strella - All commissions co-ordinator, Mr.Francis D Souza - co-ordinator of environment commission,Presidents of ICYM, Catholic Sabha, & Stree Sanghatan along with Parishioners & all the ICYM members.

The programme commenced by invoking God's blessings, & Preetham D Souza welcomed the gathering. The programme was inaugurated by planting a sapling. Rev.Fr. Gratian Alvares delivered a presidential speech, wherein he encouraged everyone to plant trees to ensure a greener planet to the future generations.

Later on 41 Arecanut saplings were planted in the church premises. Mrs. Priya D Souza delivered the vote of thanks. Mr. Sandeep D Souza compered the programme. All the unit members by taking active participation made this programme a great success.
