Bantwal, Jan 18 : The Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) St. John Bantwal Deanery, in collaboration with several organizations, organized a blood donation camp at the Loretto Grace Clinic premises on January 5, 2025.

The event began with a devotional prayer song by Primal Pinto, secretary of ICYM Allipade unit. Roshan Sequeira, Red Drop representative of ICYM Bantwal Deanery, welcomed the gathering.

Rev. Fr. Francis Crasta, Parish Priest of Loretto Church, inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp. In his presidential address, he emphasized the importance of blood donation, stating that it can bring light into the lives of others and is a reflection of humanity.

Dignitaries in attendance included Joseph Lobo, owner of Grace Polyclinic; Isaac Vas; Ansel Martis; John Lasrado; Ryan Rodrigues; Winston Sequeira, ICYM Mangalore Diocese President; Elvin Dcunha, ICYM Mangalore Diocese Amso Yuvak Editor; Alvin Pinto; Snehal Rosario; and others. They were honored with flowers and mementoes.

Arrol Sequeira, ICYM Bantwal Deanery President, expressed his gratitude, and Melroy D'Souza, ICYM Bantwal Deanery Secretary, hosted the event.
