Mangaluru, Sep 11 : “The art of winning is not just related to victory but the willingness to strive towards a goal”.

The Basketball players of Mount Carmel Central School, Mangaluru proved it true as they emerged winners bagging the 1st place in Senior Girls category, 1st place in Senior Boys category and 2nd place in Junior Boys category in the 13th James Naismith Basketball Cup-2023 organised by Mangalore Basketball Club and held at the U. Srinivasa Mallya Indoor Courts from August 31st to September 3rd. The synchronised efforts of Saanvi Kotian brought her the honour of Best Player Award in the Senior Girls category.

The ambience of the school PETs, the parents and the friends cheering and supporting the players was enthralling. Overall, the team work, diligence and zeal to win, have made the teams the winners they are today.

The school management, principal, staff and students congratulate the Basketball players and wish them continued success in their future endeavours.
