Vamanjoor, Nov 12 : Sports can unify, excite, frustrate and inspire everyone like nothing else.

The annual sports meet of St. Raymond's PU College was held on 10th November 2023. The most anticipated event of the year commenced with the arrival of highly distinguished chief guests Rev. Sr. Shubha B.S, Coordinator for Educational Apostolate, Mangalore Province and Correspondent, St. Raymond's P U College , Rev. Sr. Vithalis, Superior, St. Raymond's Convent, Mr. Tharanath Shetty, Secretary, Dakshina Kannada Amateur Athletic Association, Sr. Lavita BS, Headmistress, St. Raymond's English Medium Higher Primary School, Sr. Jecintha Crasta BS, Principal, St. Raymond's Degree College and Sr. Shanthi Flavia BS, Headmistress, St. Raymond's English Medium High School .

After the spectacular March Past, the college flag was hoisted by the honorable guest. Oath taking ceremony was led by Sports Captain Miss Sonal, pledging to uphold the honour and spirit of true sportsmanship.

Rev Sr Shubha BS, President of the program addressed the gathering laying emphasis on the need to imbibe the qualities of discipline, and never be disappointed by failure in life, encouraging students to refine their talents achieving the greatest of the Heights.

The display of pyramid and dance by students added beauty to the program. Sr. Anita Lydia, Principal, St. Raymond's PU College and Mr. Jayaram, Physical Education Director, were present on the Dais. Sr. Anita Lydia, Principal, St. Raymond's PU College welcomed the gathering. Program was anchored by Mrs.Likitha, Lecturer in Biology, Ms. Radha, Lecturer in Kannada proposed the vote of thanks.

The Annual Athletic Meet embodied the Zeal, talents and spirit of sportsmanship among the students.
