Mangaluru, Sept 22 : Addiction free society awareness was raised through street theatre held in the surroundings of Mangalore City.

Bethany Social Service Trust® Mangalore,Sahodaya Bethany Seva Kendra Bendur ,Mangalore in collaboration with Arise Foundation and School of Social Work Roshni Nilaya Mangalore, for addiction free society, “Anti drug month” 1-30 September 2023, and in support with Police commissioner for Mangalore for “Addiction free Mangalore”, organized street play on 21 September 2023 at 2pm in surrounding areas of Mangalore at State Bank Bus stand Humpankatta, Clock Tower, Tagore park.

Sr Leena Dcosta, coordinator of Sahodaya Bethany Seva Kendra Bendur welcomed everyone. Mrs Vineetha Rai The HOD of School of Roshni Nilaya of BSW gave a brief introduction of Anti Drug. Giving an invitation to the younger generation to say "No to drugs and yes to Life" through a street play by the BSW Students of School of Social work Roshni Nilaya, they raised awareness on combating drugs and its ill effects . Through slogans and postcards the public were made aware of the ill effects of drug use.
